Post by: BIGMIKE on November 28, 2017, 10:16:12 AM
2017 Late season meat hunt. Conditions were all out of whack. Lack of snow, Rain and windy, 45 degrees average temperature. 46 yard heart shot.  Thought he's a 3 point Buck... latter, I found out that he is a Pope and Young Doe!  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:This female Buck  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:had antler base of over 8 1/2 inches but fell off during the recovery and didn't have family jewels. lol :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I posted earlier in the year on a antlered doe I got. All female down low all buck up top. Still in velvet with some goofy horns. Someone on here told me it's 1 in 30k that are like this. Lucky us? (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171129/69ad708ac92f338096289035db4f03e7.jpg)

Don't know about yours but mine was in tremendous shape and excellent eating once you trimmed about an inch and half of fat off the back. Hope the same for you!

Good kill, no matter the gender.  Seems we see a couple of these trannies each year.  Congrats.

Yielded about 50 lbs of clean organic meat. Yum. That's what hunting is all about.
