Do these products hold up against the rain like their ultra, chugach and yukon rain gear does? Is this product made for rain or more for snow?

They are not waterproof,water resistant.

I agree with this, my yukon pants are waterproof to a point.

My Yukon gear has been the most waterproof stuff I have ever used. The guide pants are in no way waterproof.

Guide pants are an awesome pant in dry weather. Dwr finish is all though

Totally agree, I like them too. I have also found some nice options for me at https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-hunting-pants-2017-reviews-and-top-picks/ Maybe you will like the pants from there as well. Hope you will find it helpful to you too

I only have the jacket but I absolutely love it! I do not like wearing rain gear because I get too hot. On opening day of late muzzie, it rained the entire freaking day and all I had on was my guide jacket. I was completely dry until about the last hour of the day and I had been walking through river bottom country all day, I should have been soaked. I wasn't upset when I did finally start to get a little damp because I had been in the rain for about 8 hours by then and what jacket wouldn't get a little damp by then... All in all, it's hands down the best purchase I've made!

Spent 8 days in Alaska this fall. The Yukon gear worked great for me. I️ would buy it again.

I have been in rain with my guide jacket, but only short periods of time (hour or two, not heavy rain) and remained dry. I wouldn't spend all day in the rain.
