Title: Broadhead for bear hunting
Post by: n_mathews13 on December 04, 2017, 09:23:19 AM: I will be shooting a recurve with wood arrows. What's you opinion or thoughts on a broadhead for hunting bear?

But really, any strong, sharpen to the point heads will work. Golden rule...keep them razor sharp!

Really sharp. There is a lot of info on trad hunting and shooting at the push podcast. Are you looking at spring bears or fall?

Whatever flies well out of your bow. The difference in the weight of various broadheads is minimal when considering the overall weight of the arrow. Good flight and accuracy is more important.
