Hello,
I am seeking advice, tips, pointers, "tales of experience" regarding filling a tag in the SINLAHEKIN GMU 215 unit.
I have never hunted this unit and I am interested in any advice I can get. I have driven through the area several times in the past and I have been studying maps, google earth, and searching for general hunting info on the unit. This will be my meat hunt of the year and I would be happy to take any legal deer I can get.
Thanks in advance to any and all replies.

With the state of the EA WA deer herds, I think most people are gonna be tight lipped, plus it doesn’t help this is your first post. :chuckle:

Thanks. I'm not big on social media and with your advice I wont put much expectation into this.

You use the search function. ;)

Yes I had searched the forum before posting.
I have gained a few good pointers and I think I will be just fine. I am not a road hunter and I am pretty confident that I can fill a freezer.
Thanks for the info BOSS.300 WINMAG

Lots of deer
I saw 500 in a 4 day archery trip
490 were on private land
Late archery
I wish I had chains or an ATV saw quite a few nice mule deer hanging
Very icy

Good luck the numbers are really sad, and most of the white tails won't ever leave private ground. And permission is near impossible to obtain

Mule deer or whitetail ? The WDFW guy over there HATES ORV's, FYI.

I will be on foot as much as I can and currently only White Tail are open in this unit for any deer.

I might be able to give you a bit of advice, PM me if you like, Gary
