I rip the skin off a chukar or pheasant and then stick these in right next to the neck down toward the butt end and cut the spine out on both sides and pull the neck toward the tail end and. These baby's take feet and wings off pheasant at the joint like no other sheers I have ever used and I used a lot before I bought a pair of these twenty years ago. Someone cut paper with them so I sent them down to Portland to be honed for the first time since I have owned them, they will be locked in one of the safes from here on out.
