You may wish to be a little more specific about your issues, for the guys who use electronic calls to help.... :dunno:

Did you buy one of those really cheap $30.00 jobbies?? Then yes, they suck. But like iceman said, just a little more info would be helpful.

$100 electric calls suck too!

My dog hunting partner cully has one of those cheap ass suckers, damn near every time he turns on the rabbit distrees call a dog comes runnin in full bore, been having to mouth bark em to a stop before they run us over, dont know the brand he has but it sure works!

A cheap call will work if you have dogs to hunt. No amount of money will bring one in if there are none around.

I have to amend that, actually. I have one of those Johnny Stewart "Attractor"s. $40 call. Very low volume, 50 yd remote, but the sounds are excellent.

I've played with alot of E-calls from $5.00 homemade to $500. top of the line, and they ALL call coyotes. I've run cassetts, CD's and Digital, they all work. I stll run CD's through a JS Converta Caller when the the situation calls for alot of volume and and I have alot of open country in front of me.
I've had pretty good luck with the little JS Attractor combined with a hand calls also.
