It's kind of a big deal on the DTR and CTD forums  ;)

I have, put one in my 2001 back when I still had it. It was quite some time ago but never had an issue with it before I sold the truck.

Hardest part about the install was setting the voltage correctly but even that wasn't bad.

I have done the whole TPS swap out before, super simple, takes a few minutes, this can't be much different than that...

Not much to it according to the instructions, part should be here today, or tomorrow.

What is yours doing? Or is this just preventative?

Loss of all power, pulled the codes on my smarty, it was the APPS sensor.

Gotcha, mine was actually fine when I swapped it out. I was having a slight rough idle scenario when at high elevation (like 7k in Wyoming) didn't do it below 5k elevation, weird. Figured the apps couldn't hurt but my problem was related to the aftermarket injectors I had. Last I heard the truck was still running great about 3 or 4 years ago when I spoke with the buyer. If recall correctly I sold him the truck 8 or 9 years ago! Man time goes by fast anymore.

Changed it out today, it was super easy, throttle response is now immediate.  :IBCOOL:
