Congrats on the new ride. Toyotas last forever.
-
I'm jealous.

Damn nice rig; they don't give those away! Man if I had that kinda coin, I'd hold out for the 2018 Bronco comeback. Course ya can't beat the yotey's reliability record.
-
My bad, Ford says the Bronco won't be out unto 2020 - start savin' my :twocents:
-
I spent years trying to convince my wife to get one instead of a Tahoe or Denali
We got a brand new magnetic grey SR5
she loves it
congrats great rigs
-
How much did they hit you in the pocket book for that puppy?
-
Nice ride...congrats!!
-
we have had our 2016 a year now in Dec. we have put 20,000 miles on it and love it ,great vehicle.
-
Those new 4runners look pretty cool. One of my favorites for sure. Congratulations on your new vehicle.

It is a TRD off road Premium, every option. sticker on window was 41K, nobody pays sticker price. Last Chev pick up I bought sticker was 49K and it was just an average equipped gas truck. Just filled up for the first time, 270 miles, 13.5 gallons= 20MPG

Are those 4runners still running the 4.0 liter V6? I have that engine in my Tacoma it's got a lot of power. They switched engines for the new Tacoma though
-
the paper work says 4 liter, ???

Have they re-geared them yet or are they still running on the same 5 speed transmission designed in the early 1990's?
-
Nice rig.
-
We have a 2015 sr5 and love it. Doesn't matter the style of driving it gets 20 mpg. Amazing rigs..... congrats on a great vehicle.

I can't say if the new ones are the same, but at least until a few years ago the 4.0 was backed up with a sealed 5-speed automatic. Autos used on the previous 3.4 were 4-speeds.

IMO best looking SUV on the market. Seen a new black 4Runner in Walmarts parking lot last Sunday morning. It was all blacked out, black aftermarket bumpers, black roof rack, black wheels, it was awesome and beautiful.
-
They are solid rides - here's a bit of advice, if the back wiper stops working out of the blue, roll the back window all the way down and back up. The wiper will then work again. This happened on my wife's 14 and I almost lost my mind :chuckle: - it's a know glitch on these rigs.
-
WYF Carl, no bloody coyotes haqnging from the roof rack, Your slippin Dude . :chuckle:
-
Welcome to the club, 4th gen owner here!
-
3rd fill up today, 21mpg. :)

I want to get the wife the TRD one. But she wants an Audi SQ5 SUV. How can I️ barrow that to take up the mountains. I need to keep up the pressure
-
Congrats! We bought a 2016 SR5 and love it. My wife was rear ended in it 3 months after we bought it, she was sitting still at a light and a Buick 4 door sedan was doing about 25, the Buick was totaled and the 4Runner had minimal damage. My wife was 5 months pregnant at the time and was completely fine. They are great rigs!

Texting, I'm sure.... How do you miss a stopped car at a light otherwise?

You must have missed that it was a Buick. Driver must have been elderly.

:yeah: haha! Older, but not enough to be used as an excuse
