It is a TRD off road Premium, every option. sticker on window was 41K, nobody pays sticker price. Last Chev pick up I bought sticker was 49K and it was just an average equipped gas truck. Just filled up for the first time, 270 miles, 13.5 gallons= 20MPG

Are those 4runners still running the 4.0 liter V6? I have that engine in my Tacoma it's got a lot of power. They switched engines for the new Tacoma though

Have they re-geared them yet or are they still running on the same 5 speed transmission designed in the early 1990's?I can't say if the new ones are the same, but at least until a few years ago the 4.0 was backed up with a sealed 5-speed automatic. Autos used on the previous 3.4 were 4-speeds.

Congrats! We bought a 2016 SR5 and love it. My wife was rear ended in it 3 months after we bought it, she was sitting still at a light and a Buick 4 door sedan was doing about 25, the Buick was totaled and the 4Runner had minimal damage. My wife was 5 months pregnant at the time and was completely fine. They are great rigs!Texting, I'm sure.... How do you miss a stopped car at a light otherwise?
