Some of you may remember my Bella from past posts or meeting her in person.  She had a cancerous tumor blockage in her intestine this last spring. She had surgery removing the tumor, a section of bowel and a lymph node. Then went through several chemo sessions. Her 1 month check-up came back clean.  Well then, she had a 3 month work up this last week (x-rays, ultrasound and blood work). Though she is happy and feeling good, the cancer is back. This time in the intestinal linings of the small intestine so it's inoperable and aggressive. She is in top condition and strong so has been approved for a different type of chemo. She starts that on Monday. Without treatment prognosis is estimated that she has less than 3 months left. If this doesn't drive it into remission she is in trouble. Please give her some positive thoughts. I'm afraid this is her last best chance. Here's a picture of her before cancer diagnosis, after finishing her last chemo session last year and a picture I snapped about a week ago. She's such a wise dog and a machine on birds. I think she knows I'm doing everything possible for her.

Thanks for the kindness guys.  I'm at the vets office now.  My girl is hooked up to the chemo iv.  It's about a 3 hour drip.  I'm just sitting here reflecting on all she's done in her life.  Her top day on geese was 102 (we picked up a few but she got the bulk of them) in Saskatchewan at 1.5 year's old.  She was really tired that night.  She has had multiple 30+ duck days here in Western Washington.  She turns 7 in March.  I plan to let her go on a few more hunts this season.  She loves the hunt so much.
