Is this a Beretta 92 magazine? 10 round, 40 s&w, made in Italy. Found in a used car here.

If it is a Beretta 90-series it would be a 96, not a 92, since it's a 40 S&W. Beretta has a bunch of different magazine configurations though and I'm not up on all of them. Off the top of my head there's the 90-series, PX4 series, and Cougar, maybe others?

You're right. It does look like a Hi Power mag I guess.

That exposed spring on the back sure does look like a High Power, and some of those mags are Italian made.

Nice find - At least $20-30 bucks used PLUS ammo!

Looks like my Hi-power mag.

Yep.. The next coolest handgun on the planet, just behind the 1911 of course. I have 11 of them, purchased my first one in the late 80's. Read too many issues of "Soldier Of Fortune" magazine. If the British SAS ran them,  they were good enough for me.👍 A pleasure to shoot, accurate, quality built, dependable and a double stack Mag back then, what more could a guy ask for?

British soldiers are still running them in Iraq and the Stan to this day.

It's a shame that Browning will more than likely discontinue producing them in beginning of 2018.

Jackelope, next time just type in the Patent number like I did and it came right up as a Browning.
