Post by: fishunt247 on March 09, 2009, 10:47:22 AM: I only run and gun. But if I know a gobbler is working a certian strip of timber, I might sometimes sit and wait, maybe an hour tops, to see if he gobbles on his own. Usually sitting time equals nap time.

For folks that may not be familiar with turkey hunting... running and gunning does not imply stalking or sneaking in on gobbling birds. Very dangerous for you and other hunters.... at the very least you stand a good chance of screwin up another hunter working a bird. :bdid:
