Just looking on GB last night, only had a couple on there and they were almost $700 , gotta wait for more places to get them in stock and I too will be trying one out
-
Hmmm, I may have to give one of these a go. Dam you Mongo, every time you post something like this it costs me money!!!
-
Sig's are great, quality stuff. The P365 would sure be worth trying. Shouldn't take me long to get one in.
-
I wanna get my paws on one and try it out

Are they available yet? Any of the places I looked were pre-order only.

I don't know, I've been so busy lately. I haven't kept up to speed on allot of stuff. I will call some distributors on Monday.

That's my job buddy lol. although this one will cost me money too. I was going to look at picking up a shield for summer carry now that Ive gotten a couple other "need" toys out of the way. then this pops up and now I want the sig, JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

I have a shield now and am very interested in the SIG anyway. I have large hands and the Shield tends to not shoot that great for me. The bigger double stack grip should be just the ticket, and still with a thin slide to carry IWB like one of the single stacks.

I'm not really looking to breakup with my Performance Center Shield because I like her a lot, but I like the looks of this new Sig 365 so I may cheat on her a little and add one to the mix.

Nice price, but would take more to part with my M&P's

I've been interested in this segment for a while now. I've gone from Ruger LC9 to kahr cw9 to Reminton R51, to running away from R51 like it was on fire, to the Shield... I have to say, this Sig 365 looks like it might be the one.
Since Walther refuses to make a PPK in 9mm, this sig might be the perfect EDC
-
What else is there to say. It's a Sig. Can't wait to get ahold of one.
-
Gonna check these out!

Sig really worked on the design of this handgun.
In this configuration(Bellow) the Sig 365 is the same size as the M&P Shield with a flush fit mag. The Sig holds 12 rounds in the magazine and the same size Shield holds 7 rounds in the Mag. Huge design advantage for a sub compact handgun.
Sig didn't just scale down one of their existing handguns, they designed the P365 from the ground up. They also went with a higher grip design for better control with +P 9mm loads. This handgun is going to go over big!
The only improvement I can see that is needed is a quality Gunfighters Inc kydex carry holster.👍

That is impressive.
Will definitely need to check these out.
-
yeah sporting systems in downtown Vancouver posted they have a demo model in house and will be taking orders. I'm afraid to go look cause there is a high chance that I will be making a down payment and ordering one. They are a bit more expensive then the shields but considering what I NEED to do to the shields to make them how I like them its basically the same price.
-
Having not yet got my hands on one...Hammer, how is it size wise to the 290...
-
Cool sig built a pps m2.
-
S&W shield - look out!!!
-
Was at the indoor range looking for something else and they had one of these Sig 365 in their collection of range guns and the counter guy let me handle it.
First thing I noticed, wow, for a gun with this capacity, it is pretty darn small. I didn't compare it side by side, but it is definitely smaller than my Shield. I'd say it is very similar in size to the Glock 43 which is pretty impressive considering the Sig 365 is a double stack.
The trigger is decent but I'm a little spoiled by the trigger in my Performance Center Shield.
From what he told me, Sig stopped production for a brief period and changed a few little things so there is already kind of a second version out but he did say that Sig will update any of the first run of 365's with the updated parts which is pretty much what we've come to expect from Sig, one of the many things I like about this company.
Based on the little bit I handled this one today, I can easily see these new Sig 365's becoming one of the most popular CCW on the market because there is just nothing not to like about these things.
-
Has anyone seen the "innovative Light" they talked about in the video, that does not increase length, height, or width?
-
I haven't seen it yet. I'm kinda curious about it but kinda not. I feel like the "point" of this gun is to be small, light and thin. I wouldn't want to add anything to it. but then again if its almost seamless then why not have a light?
-
That would be interesting to see how they could keep the same profile of the gun, with a light added. After handling one of these thing, I've got to give credit to Sig, these things are much slimmer than I ever thought they were going to be, considering they're a double stack. If I didn't already know, before he handed it to me, I'm not sure I would have believed it wasn't just another single stack sub compact.
-
Still interested.
What are the reviews saying?
-
my review is that it shoots freaking awesome, find one and get it.

So far it sounds like they are already on the 2nd gen. first gen was having issues with firing pins and trigger groups breaking. sounds like sig has got it all sorted out but still run a good amount through the gun before you trust it for carry.
-
I don't think you could buy a new 1st gen P365 now.
-
Im definitely happy with mine. Decent trigger, good sights, and now its at a little over 1000 rounds with no malfunctions. It really likes 124 grain stuff.
-
I'm also happy with mine. I have not had any issues. I did notice striker drag for the first time after hearing about it/watching MAC's video. But I did some more research and asked a few buddies with the G43 and the Shield and they said they saw the same thing. I don't think that is an issue- I think the QC on one batch of strikers was it.
-
I noticed the striker drag on my 43 and shield but it wasnt as pronounced. The 12 round mag is worth it for a spare to carry. I will say the grip texturing is rough on shirts. A few of my poor walmart 4 pack t-shirts got some holes rubbed through em
-
I really want to go with the 365 being out of the box I wouldn't really have to touch anything, but the problems they have had still concerns me. im about 40/60 split right now, slight leaning towards the shield PC and just modifying it a bit. two things I hate on the gun is the trigger and the stupid fiber optic sights (its a carry gun, night sights S&W!) but I know what to expect out of the Shield and those modifications are relatively easy and cheap. ugh ill have a lot to ponder.
-
I would never tell anyone to trust a newly designed carry gun based on my one gun experience but for the price its worth trying one out. The Shield PC I tried and hated. I by far prefer my 2.0 with factory night sights to the PC amd the apex triggers work great. But with the price of those mods ypur already over the cost of a 2nd gen 365.

Its true but i know what to expect from the S&W. Ive heard and seen multipule complaints about the 365. not only jamming, but firing pins and trigger groups breaking. Im not easy on my guns normally and of course would test it out before carrying it but still the amount of problems out of the gate has me worried.
-
I'm a little surprised to hear some not liking the PC Shield. I've had mine since shortly after they became available and its been a great little gun to shoot. I particularly like the trigger in the PC version, it's easily better than any other gun I've shot in the same class. But, even though that nice trigger is great at the range, I'm not sure how beneficial or necessary it is in a CCW.
I like the new Sig365 because it holds more and I think it's slightly smaller and typically you don't get smaller and higher capacity at the same time. I'm a big Sig fan, I've never sold a single Sig that I purchased, but like a few others, I'm going to hold off for awhile before I jump out and buy one.
