I have recently been named Chairman of Skagit Friends of NRA, a completely volunteer organization aimed at raising funds for youth programs like Hunter Safety, The YES program and Eddie the Eagle. I will be hosting a fundraising banquet in Mount Vernon on 27 April which you are all invited to. We will be raffling off more guns than you can shake a stick at as well as prizes ranging from guided hunts and fishing trips to custom furniture and art. Silent auction, raffles, dinner and a live auction, it will be a great time.

I've already ordered $10,000 in guns to give away at the event. They are trickling into my FFL this week.
I will have a booth this weekend at the WAC gun show in Monroe where I will be selling raffle tickets for our reload raffle. The reload raffle gives you a chance to win up to 3 guns without having to attend the banquet.

Folks at the show are pretty excited to have this event back
-
-do you have to be NRA member to go?
-by give away guns do you mean via the raffle or some are just given to random attendees separate from the ones won via raffle?
-how much will raffle tickets be (also is there a limit or raffle tickets bought and I’m assuming the raffle tickets are separate from the entry fee)
Thanks in advance

No membership is necessary. We are not the NRA. Our funds go to youth programs, not rich lawyers.
Guns will be be given out as prizes in raffles and in chance based games. Your entry ticket does put you in for a door prize.
The Reload raffle and the games will have a limited number of entry oppourtunities. The straight bucket raffles will have no limit. Bucket raffle tickets will have three levels of price (10, 20, 50$ individual purchase price) and will also be available for sale discounted into a package price. For instance, the $200 raffle ticket package gives you $370 worth of raffle tickets and an entry ticket.

We will be at the friends of NRA banquet in Yakima this weekend if anyone wants to buy some raffle tickets or entry tickets .

The Yakima event was a good time this weekend. The protesters outside had trouble with the spelling on their signs. Words like "savety" and "childrin" look better on a street corner I guess.
-
Tagging for later. Very interested in going. About how many people show up to the event?
-
We are expecting around 100-150 people but our venue can accept 250. Tri-cities show is expecting 500+, Yakima had about 300, puyalip is probably going 500+.
We are trying to put up lots of prizes and a good time so we can build.
-
Thanks! A friend is planning to get a table, I will be joining him there. Really looking forward to it!
-
We just ordered 5 yeti coolers to throw in the prizes.
-
We will be at the Puyalip Friends of NRA show this Saturday if anyone wants to link up. We will also be atthe Custer range Sunday selling tickets at the shoot.

-
Ok, I'm going to have to meet up with you sometime this next week and get some raffle tickets and a couple entry tickets. That $200 package seems like a great deal.
-
We will be at the Custer Range tomorrow selling the goods. Come on up and see us. I'll have the reload raffle guns on site .
