I’m thinking about getting a bakflip mx4, or the gator version for a little cheaper for my Tundra CrewMax. Anyone have any advice, or know where to get nice deal? I dont need absolute waterproof, or plan on beating it up, just want a secure and mostly dry place to store my stuff. I’m in Vancouver, if anyone has any feedback, it’d be appreciated

I have the mx4 on my F250 and love it. I have had the vinyl ones and hard trifolds in the past, but this one folds up against the cab and allows you access the entire bed. With the section closest to the cab folded up against the cab and locked in with their little rods, you can haul anything in the bed and not worry about taking the cover off. I mean, you might lose 3 inches of length at the bedrail height, but not an entire third like the sit on top trifolds.
It is easy enough to install yourself too. You can probably find a good online deal. I used Truck Builders LLC in Lynnwood. If you were closer I would recommend them. Www.Truckbuildersllc.com Jim is the owner and he did my lineX. Good guy.

I also use auto anything for parts and items I need.

I received the attached email today. 20% off with the code noted below and I believe it is free shipping.

I have a backflip on my Dakota, love it!
It is by far the best tonou cover I have owned. It gives you the convienience of a soft top and the security of a hard top. Add a tailgate lock for a couple bucks and you are good to go.
Also makes a great step ladder, LOL

A lot threads on Tundras.com about the Bakflip (can’t remember what the general consensus over there is).
I’ll also second autoanything.com. I get emails from them all the time from placing orders with them in the past. I’ll go look to see if I have any current ones.

Looks like the only code I have that’s still valid (thru 2-18) is “GOLD18” which is $45off an order of $200 or more.

Just got a 20% off code, “President20” that is good thru tomorrow.
