Anyone used one of their calls before? I talked to the guy at the sportsman's show and liked the look of his stuff but it's different than I'm used to which makes me leery lol. I do really like the ease of replacement on them and the guy could make some good sounds out of it. Just looking to see if anyone had any experience good or bad with them.

Last year they sold me and a few buddies on their calls. Its true they do sound good and I'm sure they work. Instead of using their call this year I used the new amp calls from phelps with the camo tube from their call.

What is it about them that you decided to move away from using them?

I used Dan's bugle for more than 10 years, and harvested over a dozen bulls with it's aid. the only issue that i saw with it, that didn't bother me, is the degree of dedication that it takes to master the call. Once you have mastered it, you will enjoy the results, if you can handle calling every hunter in on the mountain that is.On a bit of a side note, it takes a pile of wind to operate the call correctly.

Well I didnt hear any real negative feedback so I'll give it a shot. Hopefully it's all as advertised.

Ive used Dan calls as well. They are hard to fugure out but once you do they work well. Its will take some time learning though.

I have ordered Dan's Blacktail Buck Grunt/Doe Bleat/Fawn Call Tube. It's a great product, good sounds. I'd check out his other products...
For Elk, I have an E.L.K Power Bugle and Primos Terminator. The power bugle produces a crisp clear long tone. The terminator in my opinion is great for an area with dominant bulls; it's aggressive sounding.
imho.

The calls work great, but you really have to dedicate yourself to learning how to use them properly. If you can, attend one of his all day seminars. Oh and learn what a finger cot is, your gonna need a bunch of them.
