Appears to be unintentional and he called and reported his suspicions.  Have to wait and see what testing results are. 
Something does not appear right with it.  Ears seam a little big and snout is kind of on the pointy side.  Ear hair is suspicious.  Maybe an extra large song dog?  Does happen.

I agree, it looks like a cross, ears are long and pointed, snout is too pointed, but has wolf looking features too, USFWS has to test DNA!
