Just wondering who is going to the Washingtons Trapper Association rendezvous on March 17th? Anyone know who will be selling bobcat urine?

I'll be going and I think (almost sure) I have an extra gallon of it out in the garage if I can find it.

At our Winter Rendezvous we have not had trapping supply dealers selling stuff. I do not think there is much demand that time of year. We do have dealers at our Summer Rendezvous. I would expect the chances are poor anyone will be selling bobcat urine except apparently John.

Is there going to be a place at the rendezvous for wannabe trappers to take the written by any chance?  I'm still studying the manual and am planning on bringing my wife and children to the rendezvous.

No, We do the full course. There is not enough time at this event for that. Instructors don't want to miss the event to do a class. If you are doing the home study and wish to challenge the course you have to take the test at a WDFW regional office.
At this time there are no classes scheduled until the Summer Rendezvous.
Hope that doesn't put you off. We'd still like to see you at the Winter Rendezvous.

Are you talking about the Summer Rendezvous? If so I just signed the contract for the facility. August 10,11, 12, Chelan County Expo Center. Program will be discussed and decisions made at the Spring Business meeting in May.

Just out of curiosity, why does the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds website say that there is a WA Trappers Assn. Winter Rendezvous on Saturday March 10th?

Good question. I never even talked to them about renting their building this year. Nothing happening there.

Hi Folks,   :hello:
I stopped over at Cabela's last week and picked up some donated items from them for the "Winter Rendezvous" from them.  Great supporters of WSTA
Got some REAL NICE items.  :rockin:  Got eight pieces of camo clothing (one real nice coat, Value I would say is somewhere around  :yike: $250.00-$325.00)
One nice pair of size 9 boots.  Holy cows I have got to bid on these

Anyway, you guys have got to show up just for these items if nothing else.
See you all there.
JC   :hello:

PS:  For you Predator & Duck Hunters, I'm donating a few of my calls to the auction, so bring your money.
