Can one of you guys who know how to look this stuff up tell me if you can get gps coordinates off of this picture?
It's taken at my equipment yard at work so I'm not worried about this particular one but I don't really want it saving my coordinates on others. Thanks.

Nope don't see it ! There's usually two spots needed to activate - turn locate/privacy on and also allow camera to use gps. If one or both off it won't attach coordinates to pics. If it did just use screen capture to save photo without it.

Could you explain to everyone how to check photos for gps coordinates?

I downloaded a free app called gps deloger to my phone. It reads gps and can erase the coordinates from your pics too. I know there are a number of aps out there and some photo viewing apps that show coordinates.
On windows you can right click on a photo and select properties and see or even remove privacy data depending on version.
If its a photo you took your phone may have a photo directory view that separates and shows by location if it has gps.

Great! I always try to be careful about landmarks and whatnot on stuff I've posted here or elsewhere but that does not do any good if my pics literally say where I was. Thanks for checking that for me fellas.

Maybe @bearpaw should stickie this thread. This is on my s5. I have the gps turned on all the time. Make sure the location tag in your camera setting is turned off like shown in this screen shot. If turned on, and the phone gps on, it will give you coordinates. I usually have the location tag and gps on for personal use and try to not post pictures anywhere except on my personal pages.
