Title: Seekins Precision AR
Post by: Shawn Ryan on March 07, 2018, 01:41:55 PM
Considering buying one.  Anyone have one and care to share their thoughts and experience?  I'm looking at the SP15 and NX in .223. Interested in facts:  MOA, failures, problems, etc.  I've read lots of reviews, but don't always trust some review writers.

Looks pretty neat to me. Really can’t go wrong much with the ar platform regardless of maker these days, barring the ATI plastic junk!

I bought a Seekins SP15 from Cabelas a couple years ago and I haven't really shot it all that much but it's run flawless so far.  I have a couple other AR's, one being a Sig MCX and this Seekins SP15 has easily been on par with any of my others.  I like AR's but I'm certainly not an AR aficionado and Seekins typically makes pretty good stuff so I'd say these SP15 models are a good value.  Cabelas has these on sale every so often and if you aren't in a big hurry you can wait an watch for them to go on sale.  I bought mine when they were on sale and it saved me a few hundred dollars.  Also, they come with a pretty nice soft case that can be used as a backpack.  The only thing I've done to mine is replace the trigger with a CMC 3lb drop in.
