Thinking about hunting turks in this area , anyone know of a place to dry camp or RV park a small trailer ?
-
Not much hunting right around Davenport cause it's out in the flat land but right up Hy 25 all the way to Kettle Falls there are several camping areas. Fort Spokane has a really nice camping area. Or you could head up Porcupine Bay (off 25) road to Porcupine Bay camp grounds...also nice.

thanks was looking at fort spokane
does it fill up for season?
-
I think it gets pretty full on some weekends and since the turkey season opens on Sunday this year you might want to see about a reservation any time now for that weekend.

Porcupine is closed due to a road closure from last year.

Fort Spokane isn't normally to busy in april-early may. Doesn't fill up. It gets more busy mid may and on. I think you can call and make reservations but i'm not 100% sure about that. Porcupine is closed cause of a landslide.

There always hawk creek falls if ft Spokane does fill up. Little farther south but I like it better myself.
