I'm getting ready to go morel hunting and deer scouting in the greater Cle Elum area. Is there a place to find maps of the burn areas from last year?Thanks

Try this. https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/ Ive used it in the past. Sometimes it wont have it from say 5 years ago but it will always have last years

I’ve been updating all my old paper maps with rugged maps

You order them for the GMU your hunting and they have all trails and roads along with fire and year they burnt.

Yeah, I think it is under the nationwide layers, two layers there, one for historical and one for current.

Also caltopo.com (http://caltopo.com). Super-rich mapping tool that's free (and ad-free). Select the map name in the top-left, and find the "fire history" check box. It also has the "Current Fire Activity" which feeds in from MODIS and is often more up-to-date than inciniweb.
