Post by: chuckster on April 15, 2018, 06:14:55 PM: 9 inch beard and about a inch long sharp spurs. Also how long is a dressed turkey good for in the fridge. Wedesday would be our best day for April Thanksgiving, but not sure if I should wait that long. I can do it earlier if needed.

Post by: chuckster on April 21, 2018, 11:28:42 AM: Bird number two. The birds have been really henned up. But this mourning this guys came in all by himself. He gobbled non stop and came in on full strut. Not the biggest bird 7 inch beard and basically no spurs.

Plus when we zigged they zagged. We could hear them but no luck! :bash: It all came together for me on day 3. There should be lots of birds still around so get out and have some fun. Thanks go Dale & Tara at Bearpaw. You can't beat their knowledge and experience. Great people and crew. :tup: :tup:
