Is anyone running the Aero Ar10's? Possible next project, I don't really intend on building from scratch. Was looking at the Aero M5E1's either full rifle or the Savage MSR-10. For the price its hard to beat and from what I have read they have both been really reliable. However I heard the Aero isn't quite pulling 1 MOA with factory ammo. Just want to get anyone's impressions of either rifle. thanks guys!

I built one in the 6.5 Creedmoor and put a faxon barrel on it and it shoots factory ammo right in 1 inch.

Aero had a special on the lower this weekend.. $139

I built one a while back. Haven’t had the chance to go shoot it yet. Been busy with the wee ones.

Turned out nice. I was tempted when they sent out emails with that pattern.

I have used M5E1 builder sets for customs and they are quality stuff at a great price point.

What groupings are you pulling?

Out of the rifle pictured above. This was the first 3 shot group at 200 yards while I was zeroing it.
I have assembled a pile of AR15’s and AR10’s. It has been my expirience that if you have a good barrel and the the barrel nut is torqued correctly they will shoot. With a acception, I have had better accuracy when it comes to longer, heavy 24”-26” inch barrels using a heavy billet upper receiver. Than I have had using a standard forged receiver with the longer, heavier barrels. Mega Machine makes a exellent heavy billet upper.

Another 3 shot group at 200 yards. Under a inch.
