Just FYI everyone, the Bushnell Essential E2 trail cams are on Amazon for $76 right now.

My wife got me one two years ago, and most recently it spent a winter pointed at an elk carcass in video mode (yes, I will post some of that separately ;)). 4.5 months out, 4+ hours of video in mostly sub-freezing temps, and battery meter still ran full.
You can't beat this camera for $76. Period.

Thanks for the heads up.

:yeah: :dunno:

I'm seeing the $147 price now too. I bought one for $76 bucks yesterday though -- I guess they sold a bunch fast and got rid of the sale.
Amazon prices are ephemeral things.

Looks like the newer model (E3) is $93.52.

I don't know exactly what changed from the E2 to E3, but if it's anywhere close, that's still a great price. My browning cameras were around that same price, and I regret buying them.

The E3 is currently $79.99.

Just ordered one of these with a 32 GB card. I already have a couple other cheaper cams that work great so I'm interested to see what I consider to be a higher end cam will do.

We have a bunch of the 8meg bushnells that we got for $49 or so and some bushnell land cams that were about $39, I can't find any of those now. They have all worked very well. I think I'll order one of the new E3 to see how it works.
I wonder if they will fit in the standard bushnell bear box?

Primarily use Spartan HCO cellular cams, but I do have a couple Bushnell Aggressors that I use as well. Incredible pictures and fast trigger speed. Got rid of my non cellular Brownings and went to the Bushnells. If these E@ and E3's are as good, that's a great price.

Looks like they take a different bear box, I ordered 1 camera and box to try.
