Wandered how many points people have drawn with on here or how many points and have never draw during the points era.
-
1996 I drew with 1 point and in 2005 I drew with 9 points.

Stupid question, why are their two columns?

One is applications (2 people have 8 and 10 pts. application add divide by 2 application has 9 pts) one application has the other is individual people.

1st choice 2nd choice for quality??

Applications, and Applicants. There can be multiple applicants on one application (group).

The ol'man got drawn for quality elk Teanaway with 2 points in 2016, rifle.
-
Quality bull, not any antlered bull permit? I drew Goose Prairie any antlered bull with eleven points.
-
gazooks! 34 points! I'd be ok with one less tag for us and just giving it to that poor guy!

i have only ever drawn a quality archery tag on not a hard unit to draw with 4 points, I'm still not trying to draw very easier tags to get tags and I have 12 points this year

2004 I had 3 points and 2013 I had 9 points

My dad drew observatory in 2015 with 2 points, that's not the hardest tag to get but proves we all have chances. No matter how small. I love looking at the points used category of each individual hunt and seeing all of those lucky *censored*s haha
-
I drew quality bull with 20points and buck deer with 10. a cow tag with 10 I believe too
-
I’ve drawn twice, usually about 4-6 points
-
16 points, never drawn.
When I look at the poor schlep that has 34 points, I know his name goes in the hat 1,156 times... and he still hasn't drawn either...
...makes me want to hunt out of state... :tung:
-
Drew once with 5 points ( Bethel rifle bull ) and another with 6 points ( Rimrock rifle bull ) .
-
I have drawn the any antlered bull tag 4 times in 15 yrs. I don't remember how many pts I had in 2002 the first time I drew. 2002,2005,20010,2017 3yrs 5yrs,7yrs... so the way the pattern goes it will be 9 yrs before I draw again.
-
16pts in quality and bull. Never drawn a branch bull tag.
-
Drew Dayton archery bull in 2009 with 6 pts

I am a high school teacher, and have a student in my class that drew the Chelan Butte Ram Tag with 0 points, and another kid that drew Blue Creek Quality Bull with 2 points. I had a senior last year that drew Wenaha Quality Bull with 2 points when he was 10 years old. My first year teaching I had a girl that had drawn Bull Moose with 2 points and Quality Bull with 3. My son drew Blue Mountain Foothills whitetail tag his second year in the game. All of these kids killed nice animals.
Makes me think that WDFW knows who the kids are... ;) None of these were "youth only" tags...
-
 but you have to apply for the tag to get the tag and that would make a min. point count at 1.?
-
Drew the Bethel Quality rifle tag in 2016 with 10 points
-
I’ve drawn buck deer with 6, quality elk 7, two quality deer tags both with 3 and second deer with 6. I’ve draw these tags all since 2012. I’m in the double digits with bull and oils. I had a good run for quite a while. I have had several friends draw great tags and it is just as fun as drawing the tag yourself. One thing I would recommend is getting to know the units you are applying for before you actually get drawn. I see it on here all the time people putting in for units that they have never stepped foot in. Take a camping trip several times during the summer and learn the lay of the land. It will increase your success dramatically. :twocents: good luck on the draws everyone!
-
It was one of the more popular Yakima area tags. Took a 5x5 both years, I'm not a very good trophy hunter.
-
Some people think they’ll get the lay of a unit before they draw, because it usually takes so many points, so they think they have time. When they draw with very little points they get a bit surprised and desperate for info... it happens sometimes...

it does happen and as you know I’m always happy to give a helping hand

True story ;)
-
I've drawn Elk Westside archery White river 2 times. Once with 3 points and once with 9. I voted in the 0-5 catagory since it only let me vote once.
-
23 points this year for quality and regular bull, ghost pointed so 24 points next year. I do not put in for both, one or the other, but out of the 23 years I’ve only ghost pointed quality once, now twice. My wife has drawn 2 quality bull tags, both with 8 points. One was a rifle rut tag, yes, I should be putting in with her!
-
I drew peaches archery in 04 on my second year of putting in. Than drew goose prairie in 09 with 5 points in the drawing .
-
Speaking for my hunting partner, he drew Peach's Ridge Quality Elk Archery last year, with 2 points. We were in disbelief. We saw more wolves than elk, he killed a decent 6 point last day of his hunt. That was the only elk he/we saw in 8 days of hunting hard.
-
12 and counting tell you when i do

You've helped enough its your turn to hold the gun and have someone bugle for you.
-

-
drew the toutle tag in 2016 with 4 points
