So I applied for an antlerless deer tag this year in a few different GMUs I would like to hunt for blacktail (saw a deer last year while hunting, couldn't tell if antlers though so no shoot, no deer otherwise all season :( ) and was wondering if any of ya'll know when the WDFW draws the special hunt permit tags?

Very cool, thanks ya'll. This is going to be my second year hunting, so I'm still getting used to all the different aspects of how this goes down. Hopefully this year I can figure out a good clearcut to hunker down in come October... Last year the places I wound up in were pretty poor habitat.
Thanks!
Side note: if anyone wants to take a 20 something noobie hunter under their wing, let me know! My dad only hunted geese and ducks so he doesn't have much light to shed when it comes to deer season. :dunno:

Last year hunted up in Satsop GMU, Green Diamond Resource company land, I didn't scout enough and hunted a fairly mediocre clearcut as a result.
This year considering Capitol Peak, Minot Peak, Satsop and Deschutes GMUs... although maybe I'd be better going east of the mountains? For now have been studying blacktail, but maybe mule deer is where it's at...
