First time making an appearance, other poor quality pic show the forks getting ready to split. Double eye guards on right and a single on left. Let's see some pics

Nice!  He's going to be a good one!  Four or five year old for sure(though after being fed all winter, who knows) .  Lots of body mass!  Not super wide this year though - maybe out to the tips of his ears(?).  Do you have any history on this buck?

Never seen him before, has not been on the feeders until last few days, no he is there all the time. See what he turns into. Still waiting to see one of the fighting buck, they have not made an appearance in begging of Jan

Bucks are hard to figure.  They seem to come and go in a manner we humans cannot begin to comprehend. 

A study on Whitetail buck movements suggested that it is not uncommon for a buck to make an excursion back to the place of his birth during the spring.  Kind of like going home to see mom.  I've seen similar results on my cams in the spring.  A new buck shows itself for a few days then is mysteriously absent the rest of the season.  That may explain it (?) :dunno:
