For example. Say there is 50 tags for a hunt. If 51 people select if first choice, and 200 people select it as a 2nd choice, only the first choice guys will get it.
If there was 50 tags in an area, and 25 select it as first choice, the remaining 25 tags will be issued to the 2nd choice people who are still in the pool.
Also remember Idaho only gives 10% of tags to non residents, and it’s my understanding that they are divided into 2 separate pools for the main drawing.

Maybe they won’t have results by the time the tag purchase deadline hits. Then we are all disqualified for it and we need to re apply and pay again for the second draw. Great question. The answer is no. It’s first choice only. The only time a second choice will matter, is if it’s an area with leftover tags, meaning they were not all taken as everyone else first choice.

Unless something new catches my eye in the next season setting, I'll just buy a few super tag tickets each year and go outfitter allocated when I want to hunt.

Really man? Idaho fish and game is a joke because draws are a little late this year? I think maybe you are not looking at the big picture . How fast they conduct draws is the least of my worries. It’s a little irritating lbut I am more interested in game management and hunting opportunities

I think maybe I was looking at this wrong. that's an excellent idea we being everyone but me should boycott at least 5 years maybe 10! We need to make a stand they extended the deadline by at least 2 days that's just crap man! we need to be done with Idaho. Again we meaning all you guys I will suck it up and continue to hunt this crappy state and make sure I let you guys know how terrible it is :chuckle:
