Here are the peep sights I’m aware of (feel free to suggest another option that may work):
NECG: Seems like this would provide the best elevation adjustment, but it doesn't appear to be able to be used as a ghost ring without losing zero.

Changing out the ghost ring for a threaded ghosts ring aperture will provide a number of aperture options.

For those whose use the NECG, is the elevation screw sufficient to hold the elevation while changing the aperture? Perhaps I can find an aperture hole size that will let in enough light in the dark timber. This may be a solution.
Does anyone have experience or know if the XS sight will work with a front fiber and hood?

Williams peep sights. for the bighorn. I use the WGRS and Sabotloader uses a different one that is more adjustable I can't quite remember the name but I am sure he will chime in. Do a search on Midway USA for peep sights for knight bighorn and you will see both options. Do some searching on this forum and you will see some extensive post from sabotloader on this also.

Personally I sue the Williams FP peep - I like it because it is adjustable just like a scope 1/4 minute clicks @ 100.

Thanks for the feedback guys, but my understanding is that neither the WGRS or FP sights work with weaver bases. I'd prefer to avoid removing the scope bases every time I want to use the peep.

Not sure weather it will work with the front sight you are looking at but it should - it comes with two different elevation slides.

That looks like the NECG. I read from a thread a few years ago where you mentioned the aperture had to be screwed in tight to keep the elevation from adjusting after recoil. Can you confirm that the aperture can be changed in the field without losing zero? I'm assuming that's what the elevation screw is for.
I guess I would say I would not trust maintaining zero if the aperture was loose or if you removed and re-installed...

Sabotloader, using the FP sight, is the 0.312" or 0.343" fire sight the best option with ramp and hood? In past threads I've seen you recommend and list both options. I'm going to stay away from the 0.375" sight since I'd like the fiber to be centered in the hood.

Just thought I'd provide an update for those that search for this answer later. The XS system is not a good solution because there is not enough fine adjustability in the rear ghost ring. The setup is designed such that the ghost ring height is located and then the front post is adjusted to fit. Trying to match the XS rear ring with a Williams front sight is very unlikely to be a working combination.

For myself the .343N has become the better option. The .312N will work but it requires a good deal of elevation from the rear sight.
