Taking the in laws to dinner for Father's Day. Looking for a new place. They are coming over the ferry to Edmonds and we are in Arlington so somewhere in between. Would prefer different or funky places. Good quality food with some atmosphere. Not run of the mill and a good value is always welcome. Any ideas?

Alligator sole in Everett across from the event center kind of a creole place serves alligator.

Been awhile since you've been there I guess. They closed in 2010.

Liked alligator soul but a stated closed awhile ago. Looking for a places like that
Not into Anthony's or paces like that but appreciate the response

I have heard good things about the Barking Frog in Woodinville. I have never been but some family and friends have and they all said it was very good.

The Woodfire at the Marina is pretty good, and much more laid back than Anthony's (it is owned by Anthony's). Lombardi's is good for Italian. The Diamond Knot brewery at the Mukilteo ferry landing is pretty good too, very laid back as well. I'm not a resident there, only keep my boat in the marina so I may not know a lot. There's some good Mexican places too.

You could do Bucca De Beppos in Alderwood area. Especially if you reserve the kitchen table. 2c. It's off I5 196th I think.

My vote is for The Rep in Snohomish.

check out the bluewater distallary on the everett waterfront https://www.bluewaterdistilling.com/index.php/cocktail-bar

Trailsend in Snohomish would be my call

I second trails end in snohomish. Get the bone in pork chop and you will not be disappointed. Never a big pork chop fan until I had theirs.
-
Very happy when I've been to trails end. Salt abd Iron in Edmonds is very nice. Cask and Trotter in Lynnwood has killer smoked wings
-
Trails End is Excellent!!! Cabbage Patch (also in Snohomish) is very good as well

I would vote for Trails End or The Repp as well. Bucks in every is decent as well.

Not that one meal defines a place....but my one and only trip to buvks was terrible. Was served raw bacon wrapped shrimp in bbq sauce. Was sick for two days because of one bite.
