I heard recently that Roger Woodruff, with the USDA here in Washington, among other areas he has worked just retired. Roger was a great resource for hunting, I always found him open to suggestions for big game management here on the wet -side and he was very active in educating the public on wildlife, co-authoring "Living with Wildlife", among other publications. Hopefully they find someone who can fill his shoes, but I would bet his position won't even be filled, with all the budget cuts....
