:yeah:
BiMart is my go-to reloading supply store in Oregon. And no sales tax.
Sportsmans Warehouse is decent as well.
-
Stopped in at bimart picked up some Berger 210 vld bullets, don't carry the Hornady 212eld-x or reloader33 powder, haven't been to Bob's in Longview in a few years ,do they carry a good selection

No, Sportsmans has a much larger selection.

If your loading in any decent quantity I’ve found it’s cheaper and easier to buy online and pay hazmat
-
:yeah:
8lb 'ers
-
What is the hazmat fee for 8 pounds? Is it the same as buying a 1 pounder?
-
I think on naches its like 18 bucks up to x pounds.....
-
Same up to 18 or 20 or so. Lots of places run specials on free or reduced hazmat.
-
Thanks you both.I go thru a lot of powder never have ordered online yet.

Right now I'm trying to come up with a new load for my 30-378, have been using 180 grain Barnes and they've worked well for me, doing some upgrades to the gun and it was recommended by the gunsmith to use heavier bullets, I tried early on but didn't give it much effort since the 180's we're working, so for now I'm just going to buy a few different powders couple of different bullets, he suggested Remington 9½ primers which I'll try but I have 1000 Federal 215 primers
-
I'm no gunsmith but i would stick with the 215's,@ min. 200 grain whatever and imr7828 or h1000 powder. :twocents:

The Barnes generally like a big jump and work well in the Bees. 230 Berger would be nice if you could get it to shoot. The brand new 230 SMK's mite be good but require 1:8 twist.
-
I believe my twist is 1-10

I recently found that Midway runs good sales on bullets (I’ve been buying Hornady lately) so I would get on their email list and watch their sales.
-
Brownells has 1 cent hazmat and free shipping today. Just saw a banner on my huntwa screen if your ready to buy.

Wow finally a different site to check.
Arghh outa n570

245$ for 8 lbs of H1000. Same price as buying it from store and you don’t need have to be there to sign for it.
-
It's not just price though. When you have a favored powder you want that powder and if stores are out(like they are most times)You end up looking at these other options.
Brownell's huh>I will look into them. Thanks
