Need a scope mounted on my 300wm and don't really know a good place to have it done. Any suggestions?

Sportsmans in Everett. Holler when done we can hit the range.

YOU CAN DO IT! Can even get mounts and rings at Wal Mart these days! 2nd on Sportsman's for parts selection but I wouldn't let one of those him-fisters touch my .300 in a million years!

I have a small torque wrench and lapping tools you can borrow. Almost as hard as changing a tire.

If you negate lapping the rings rings tools are pretty inexpensive. I like Warne rings maxima series. They claim they don't need lapping and I haven't done so yet. I'm in for $60 bucks in scope mounting tools you can get a lapping kit for around $80, not bad, and you will never have to have someone mount a scope for you again.

You could use Burris Signature rings and skip the lapping and torque wrenches all together.

Wheeler makes a nice mounting kit. Comes with torque wrench, bits, levels, lapping bars, compound & loctite. Think I bought mine on Amazon.

Another alternative would be to bring it to me at Grumpys Gun Repair, in Granite Falls. I align the rings and boresight, often while you wait. Give me a call on 425-210-1373.
