Figured I was going to draw my buck antelope tag, so applied for a doe tag there as well. Didn’t draw the buck, drew the doe. That’s a long drive to shoot an antelope doe.
You had the option of checking the box on your application to take you out of the draw if unsuccessful in drawing the buck tag.

How about moving to Wyoming? Of all western states, would Wyoming be the best to become a resident in to get the most hunting benefits. Justf really fed up with Washington.
I'd move to MT over WY.

Waiting to see the leftover list to pick up something off that, looks like there should be some to choose from this year.
That’s also a lottery now. Can’t really just get a tag anymore. Last year I put in for a leftover and applications FAR outnumbered the tags given. No more first come first serve.

I learned this year that nothing is guaranteed. Last year odds said I would have drawn with 2 points. This year two points was a 0% chance. A lot can change in one year.

Same here. My unit over there use to bean easy draw for deer with zero points. Need at least 1.5 for a 100% draw now.
May have to do “special” next year if I for sure want to go again.

What’s crazy is that they raised prices and it seems like there’s still more people applying. Point creep is alive and well in Wyoming.
Probably with the booming economy a small increase in license fees won't phase anybody. We can blame it on Trump.

I wish they would raise the prices higher!!! I want to draw every year for the next 15 to 20 years. Being 52 doesn't give ya all that much time left!Lots of antelope tags that can be drawn as a 2nd choice. No need to pay more than we already do. Even if you have lots of money it's a little silly to wish to spend more of it for the things you plan to buy

Star Valley would be about the only place in WY that I would live.
