God bless em I think they’ve realized that after all the western states have posted results hunters will go up against any odds for just one more chance!!!I'm one more tag away from divorce and having to take a leave of absence from work for "emotional issues" to swing the time off but I'm still gonna send it in the second draw :chuckle:

They posted results by their advertised date for OIL what makes you think they won’t make it for this draw?They almost didn't, they missed the published notification date on superhunts, spring bear(2 hunts) and spring turkey(4 hunts). This is the most difficult and complex of all of the draws with eligibility checks and the total number of different hunts. I have no faith in them to release results in a timely manner at this point

There is no shortage of impatience - but for a lot of working people, the more advance notice they get can make a big difference in getting the right time off and having more time to prepare. Many of us are fortunate to have flexible schedules and lots of free time and it has little effect when results come out...but that's not the case for everyone so I do think it should be the goal of every state to work as hard as possible to get results out as quickly as possible. :twocents:I'm good with the 20th. I did that in 2015 and it was a lot of fun. We hunted a couple mid 190” deer for 7 days. I managed to slide arrows by a couple of great bucks.

For whatever reason, the harvest has been low on bucks on this hunt the last couple of years.
I know that the winter was pretty brutal last year, but I still saw quite a few nice bucks come off the November hunt.

But since you asked this question I will answer it so members don't think I'm avoiding the question. I personally have nothing against him, I do not know if the ridicule is warranted or not, I don't know if some of it's jealousy or not, I don't participate in those topics because I think they are in very poor taste, most of the people complaining did not do a hunt with him, they simply appear to dislike him/his business. There is nothing wrong with a review if the person doing the reviewing gives their honest comments based upon their experience with the business, either good or bad. There is nothing wrong with him running a business in close proximity to the city as long as he follows the law and doesn't endanger anyone. The dog piling that occurs from some members who have no experience with his business does not seem fair, sort of like a bunch of gossipers trying to cause trouble in the neighborhood or pick fights with the kid they dislike. So in summary, I think actual reviews are important but I don't agree with all the comments being posted by some members. I haven't been able to figure out how to draw a line on what is acceptable and what isn't. If this is something we need to have a conversation about, we can split this off as a separate topic.
