Post by: bowhunterforever on June 24, 2018, 12:19:29 AM
I drew the huckleberry any bull early tag. I know the unit pretty well but thought I would ask for any information you guys know about the unit and moose hunting in general. I will take any information I can get. Thanks

The middle of the day will be slow, but do alot of driving and glassing during prime times and you will do fine. There are alot of moose in that unit, you just got to wait for one to make a mistake.  Good luck man!

Is there much public ground in that unit?

There is some state land in there, but mostly timber company ground, and a lot of it.  You can get Xmaps for your Garmin to be sure to stay off privately owned land and cover the rest of it.
