Title: Cellular Cameras with limited service
Post by: Bobby Bowman on July 16, 2018, 09:32:37 PM
Hey Everyone,

I am looking to get a cellular game camera and was curious what people would recommend. I want to put them in an area near Tonasket, around Haley Mt.   AT&T and Verizon get limited service up there, around 25-75% depending where you are standing, you can also get into some Canadian Providers too. Anyone have any luck with a particular trail cam co. up there? or know of some that work well with poorish service? Thanks!

I would normally recommend the Spartan No Glow in the Verizon, I have received MANY photos with only one bar.  But they are about to discontinue the 3Gs and I have yet to hear many positive things about the 4Gs in the Verizon cameras, so I cannot recommend them.  Be careful right now, I have seen some folks advertising the 3Gs at decent prices, but they forget to mention the cameras cannot be activated any longer and they are basically expensive "normal" trail cameras.

Bushnell is just starting to ship their new one.  $299 at cabelas. I doubt its useable with your signal though.  Will find out in a couple weeks.
