Hey All - I'm relatively new to hunting, and this is my first post on these boards... although I've learned a ton from you all over the last couple years - thank you.
I created a simple free website - www.huntplanner.us (http://www.huntplanner.us) - to visualize the WDFW big game regulations and annual harvest reports in a more intuitive format, and wanted to share with you all, in hopes that it could be a valuable tool to the community. It still might be a little buggy, but I'd love any/all feedback!
I started making this for me and my friends to use, and am just doing it as a spare-time hobby (so hopefully this doesn't qualify as any type of not-allowed advertising), but I am considering adding some more features / states at some point if people find it valuable, hence the domain name and such.
Anyways, I'd love to hear what you think!

 good stuff

Nice work.
That's a useful tool.

Interesting for sure, I love the new things people are thinking of to make wading through the world of hunting regulations easier, especially for self-taught guys like myself.

The page wont load for me.

That is awesome. Thank you!

I was thinking about doing something similar - but this is 100x better. So glad I didn't waste that time!!!
Except my plan was to post up a bunch of ads on the site too, for a little extra side money... Leaving that suggestion here so your bank account thanks you.

That is a good tool, especially for people that are new to this state for hunting.

It's a nice tool. Well done.
There is an inconsistency which could be confusing. In modern season, the any buck color on the key is green and the any deer color is the greenish-brown. For archery and ML, the colors and position of the buttons is switched. Also, for those units that are closed, it would still be helpful to have the unit info pop-up. Keep up the good work. When you do start selling this, it'd be nice if HuntWA members in good standing were eligible for a substantial discount.

This is way faster then thumbing through all the regs.

I was thinking the same!
Excellent work!

Dang it...You did your first post all wrong! Your supposed to come on here and immediately start asking for specific locations of quality big game and access. Your first post is way out of line!!! :chuckle: Jk Thanks a bunch! Might be the most constructive first post I've seen!

This is awesome!

Thanks for the feedback and ideas, all. I appreciate it! Hope it can be useful this season, and I'll keep you posted with any significant future updates. :)

Awesome!!! Thanks. Going to be a useful planning tool.
