I got an awesome deal on my 2016 F-150 from Argus at Evergreen Ford. It has the 2.3 l ecoboost at gets around 21.5 or a bit better on road trips
If you don't mind me asking what price range would make an awesome deal?

Anybody have one ? Wife's 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee is starting to nickel and dime us , so of course she thinks that means new car time :rolleyes: . She's looking at Explorers ( probably a Limited ) . What motor should she go with the 3.5 V6 or the 2.3 Ecoboost.Buy her a white one and put a brush guard on it and a spotlight mounted by the driver side mirror

I have a 2016 Explorer Platinum with the 3.5 Ecoboost, and it's more than enough power to tow my boat and for all my needs. Plenty of pep. My only complaint is the low ground clearance for some off-road travels compared to my Tundra. Other than that, it's a nice ride. And the Platinum line includes every technology bell and whistle that Ford carries, if your wife likes that (electronic controlled third row of seats, seat massagers, front and rear cameras, every side/collision/etc. sensor, etc.)I did find a 2017 Platinum at a dealership for $39K with 5600 miles on it . It's a nice rig.

I haven't driven it a whole lot but the little bit that I have driven it I've been very pleased with everything about it. They drive very nice, is pretty quiet, lots of room for not being a full size, and has great power.
