Title: Anyone have access to a FFL?
Post by: Spuddieselwwu on March 16, 2009, 02:23:57 PM
I really want to start building an AR and obviously need to get a lower, does anyone have one and is willing to sell? Or do you have an FFL and can bring one in for me for a %?

Please let me know, I want to get started on this project soon.

Thanks a bunch.

Have you checked into Wades gun shop in bellevue? They might be able to help you out. Lots of AR goodies.

You may want to check this link from GunBroker.com.  I was able to find a FFL right in town through their search engine.

FFL'S---i can tell you from personal experience.

wades in bellevue will ship for you for a fee.(most expensive)
estate firearms in bellevue will ship for you, cheaper than wades
dj's pawn in bothell(i think) will ship for you.
there's a pawn shop in renton that will ship for you, can't remember the name.
the little gun shop behind target in woodinville(AMS?) will ship for you.

they all are around $30.00 per firearm,  the shop in woodinville and estate in bellevue told me they would give me a deal on multiple guns. wade's told me to pound sand, they don't give deals.

I wouldn't spend a nickel at Wade's unless I had to.
Use Ben's in Renton.
DJ's in Bothell.

I believe AMS is gone with the wind. rental trucks are gone and the place has looked empty for about 4-5 months

Blackwell industries in Renton will order for a modest fee (can't remember exactly but something like $20-30).  He also builds AR's and has his own "Blackwell Ind" receivers if you don't want a particular make (like Rock River, etc).  He was out of receivers but I read he had another batch coming in soon.  Hopefully not too late.

West coast armory in Issaquah had stripped lowers.  It's where I bought my RR lower and my CMMG lower.

Blackwell industies in Renton was charging $20 per FFL form (up to 3 weapons on the form)

just FYI. If you have an FFL and you leave the country for any reason it is automatically null and void. Just learned that the other night.

There's a couple places here in Wenatchee that will do it for 25 to 30 bucks. If you want a little bit of custom work on a lower I would recommend Anvil Arms lowers, No flashing and very good finish. I have several of those and have made the laser templates for these two. Jon has them if you want to use them. Also he will call you himself if there are any questions. The lower one is the family shield.
