He probably has spent all summer bedding there.  He just bed.  In about 5 minutes he'll be in shade for most of the rest of the day.   Which by the way makes them alot harder to see and take pics of.

As is, he's probably pretty hard to see at 75 yards.  Great photo!

I often have wondered how many bucks i have walked by laying in the rocks, and shade and they just let me go right on by, but you cant look at every single rock or cliff area, or maybe you can and that why i don't fill many tags.
