These are interesting. Wish it was street legal.
Anyone got one?

Interesting!
The Mahindra tractors and UTVs are very popular on the large farms hear in OK. Not John Deere popular, but you do see them often.
-
I was having a thought that if yo slapped a Willy’s plate on that thing and kept to less traveled FS roads most people would t have a clue.
Of coarse I would never do that, just sayin. :dunno:
-
Why isn’t it Street legal?
Add mirrors and it’s good to go.
-
It would be legal anywhere UTVs are legal. If I lived in such a place I'd own one.

I was told that it didn’t meet crash test requirements. Not sure that is the reason.
You can lincense a motorcycle. Should be to lincense it.

Excellent point, you can licence a donor cycle, but not this? >:( This would make a great commuter car for me, at 30-35 miles a gallon it beats anything I got now.

Very cool. Maybe someday? Still digging my 50" utv..

i would just buy an old rusty jeep and trade titles. I dont think now days anybody would care or know
still looks like a jeep.

The grill is different.... but you can buy aftermarket ones.

Top speed of 45 mph. :dunno: It would be a fun toy.
-
Cool, but I am not a fan of the roll bar. Hopefully the rig is pretty lightweight, those bars to not look near heavy enough for any real roll over protection though, looks smaller than most rzr bar I have seen?
-
If you had a 1944 Willis, you would think nothing of a roll cage. JMTCW

Reflashed ECU computer dyno tested

This one just complicated my choices. There is one on display at the Sportsman Show in Portland. Seriously interested.

The second video shows it with a tune and they got it to 73 mph and up to about 60 hp. They also mentioned a street legal kit.
Looks fun, but I'm not sure I would be confident I could get parts for it, especially if they go under, get bought or whatever. Jeep is suing them.
-
Watched a few more videos, those things are sweet. I had a 40's Willys, this looks to carry a bunch of the cool but with an engine and transmission that actually work.
-
That 2.5 diesel in their ag gear is a worker. This is fat man 4 wheeler dream here. I would be tempted to play the Willie's swap.
Pull the guts out and frame it.

If you have the farm exemption. You could drive it to town for supplies... just sayin

Looked at the "Ted Nugent Call of the Wild" model Mahindra at the sportsman show in Portland today. What a cool rig. I asked the dealer about the jeep lawsuit and he said they have settled with jeep.

For a few more bucks you can buy a real Jeep. Why would anyone want to buy this?

Got this from dealer. "We can send out ECUs and get them re-flashed so you gain 25 hp 40 foot pounds of torque and 30 mph. That costs $500"
Lawsuit doesn't concern me. Look at all the 'Yeti' coolers out there now. I don't see them disappearing too quick. :dunno: :twocents:
After market companies seem to be jumping into the game with lots of upgrades.
-
Anyone making tracks for them yet?

I read there was some federal rule about emissions or something that prevents importing as a "vehicle" vs a ATV or off road fun rig. But not sure.

Something to look for. I just need 2 or 3 ag leases in the Teanaway and Wenas.
-
Honestly they are really cool but a UTV is better option. Economy, capability, cost = fun, lighter, more options. comfort.
-
Now street legal kits
