Any thoughts on if the bottom buck pictured is one of the ones from above earlier in the summer? They are in the same general area.

Cool pics mister; some nice bucks!  Do you ever have issues with those pesky bears with your cameras hunt that low?

Constantly. They more often than not lick the camera, they like getting their mouth on it. But no damage yet.

If you mean the bottom buck (lower) pictured on 8/2 is in any of the other captures, my guess is no - but he's a stud!  Thanks for posting!

I was trying to ask if the buck captured on 6.21.18 was any of the bucks captured on 7.21.18 or 8.2.18. But I am unsure of antler growth over that span of time.

and thank you, I enjoy all the blacktail pictures posted.

Ahhh, I get it.  I have no idea for sure, but I'd say that he could be any of the three captured on 7/21 but most likely the first or third.  He looks like he was tending towards a small four point - tending towards a fork in G2/G3 but he wasn't showing a ton of mass early on and had a pretty low fork in front too.  That front seems to be the most obvious way to compare the dates and growth  The top three all look like they share similar genes too.  Fun stuff!

BTW - Where are they taken? I'll  go check it out for you.  :chuckle:
