I know I don't need an FFL, but are there and other restrictions in shipping a muzzy? I don't believe FEDEX will ship, what is best alternative? USPS says need C&R lic. I don't recall on any others I have had shipped. If it wasn't my daughter sending I wouldn't care so much. I don't want to get my kid in any trouble.
I guess I could have it addressed from me to me? I will be paying.
thoughts?

Just ship it and don't tell them what it is. Worst case if your really worried....take it out of the stock...now its "parts".

Last one I shipped, used USPS.
Broke it down, wrapped it up boxed it. Walked in and said I need to ship this muzzleloader, they weighed, slapped the sticker on, took it and sent it on its way. Nothing special needed and was the same steps I take when shipping a shirt to Joe.

I have shipped several ML's by UPS and USPS here in Idaho - that is not a problem with them at all if you declare it a ML... not sure about FedEx....
Maybe it is a new rule by USPS - I shipped one two weeks ago with out a problem
Also remember a ML is not a regulated firearm.... a lot of postal clerks may think it is a rifle - it must conform... you may have to get the postal station manager involved.
