My group struck out. Maybe next year. Good luck to those that drew. I’d love to shoot a speed goat

Yes indeed, but not sure if I'm going before or after the deer opener
I may go before Montana deer opens and then hunt November 10-24 for rutty deer

Looks like there are almost 900 surplus archery permits (900-20 tags) good for any unit in the state august 15-nov 11. They go on sale starting at 4am PST on the 13th.

700-20 rifle tag

I drew, same tag I had in 2016. Really didn't need another tag (already turned my MT deer/elk combo back in), but too much fun not to go antelope hunting.

My hunting partner and I drew rifle antelope tags. We also drew deer combination and muley doe tags. It’s gonna be one hell of a hunt.

No problem! This will be my first time hunting antelope this year, pretty excited. Going out after work to check out a BMA piece of land close to home on Wednesday then the next couple weekends Ill go down to hunt where I scouted last weekend.
Here are some of the bucks I found this past weekend.

I also drew 700-20, first antelope hunt for me. A friend drew the same hunt last year and killed his first big game animal around Broadus. I posted in "Other big game animals". It is a big area. I was thinking of hunting the Northern portion. I'll look at the block management areas as Bearpaw suggested. I have been through the middle south, but never the Northern portion if it is anything like the 300 areas (mostly private property where the antelope are) antelope are plenty.

That was fun

Back in November for mulies
