found a Garmin Rhino in GMU 524. Just tell me what model it is and we can arrange a pick up.

I found a 550T about 5 years ago and it was "interesting" finding the owner. It had laid out there for a year before I found it. Took 2 weeks to find the owner.

It’s cool you took the effort to find the owner. I found a cell phone once. I was carrying it out and the damn thing vibrated. Scared the crap out of me. Lol. I forgot I had it in my pocket.

Man, if i ever lose my gps and the wrong person finds it, ill lose a couple dozen trail cameras and several treestands.

I lost a rhino 110 elk hunting once. Laid out all night.
But was able to find it with my other 110 by polling it’s position.
Lucky.
Hope the owner finds you.

Can a GPS ever really be lost? :chuckle:

That's why I always carry several, and mark the waypoints when I lose them.

When you first turn my Garmin GPS on it has a welcome screen that is customizable to read what ever you want. I made mine to say "If I'm lost please call 360-980-####, Reward if returned". Hopefully I never have to see if I lose it that I'll actually get it back.

Ya know, cell phones, GPS or anything else you find in the woods is OFF LIMITS to try and find the owner. The trail camera Nazis make that perfectly clear.........
So go back and put them the spot you found them.......

Why would a REAL hunter carry a cell phone anyhow ? :chuckle: I never did when hunting wasn't so messed up in Washington.
