I'd forgotten what a PIA these are. The plastic loading tool is a joke. I think I'll stick with musket caps, or make my own loading tool.

Made a die of sorts out of a piece of shovel handle and pressed them in.
Ready to go

I thought the loaded fine. I just put a small square of wood on the bench and they press in very easy. Their overall life is not my favorite at all!!

I love them! Yes the loading tool is a joke. I use my thumb. But I love how easy they go in and come out of the rifle. And in wet weather you can't compare them with musket caps.

I have used them one day of scouting and hunting, but really like how easy loading and unloading was.

I think they load and unload easy. I just fold a small piece of paper, push them on, and set them on a vice and push out if plastic is savable. The pain the butt comes with getting them properly seated. For my bighorn it requires the plastic little tool. They also do not last with any load much over 90-100 grains. But I don't have much choice at this time with this particular gun.
