Just wanted to post this....I'm new to this but tuned/fired a few center fires. Anyway....I was shooting mine pretty much daily for the last week. Needless to say my initial (hunting load) started shooting all over. I started out each session with a hunting load...then some practice loads that shoot almost same POI. I was at shot 28 with no cleaning other then swabbing barrel between shots with windex patches.
I shoot and I'm low left and think well maybe I just crackered it....shoot a practice load/center....then another hunting load/low left again. WTH?? Clean it..fire one fouling load....next trip first shot hunting load hits exactly where I want. Yes, I guess having a clean nipple really matters and the target is a 6" black zone. So, now limiting my shots to 15 before full cleaning of nipple.
