Title: Actual sound of Blacktail grunting
Post by: Big6bull on October 03, 2018, 06:52:44 PM: Anyone have a video of this. Few I’ve heard have been much more “nasely” and soft than many of the calls I have.

Post by: fishnfur on October 04, 2018, 11:55:25 PM: There's one on Youtube somewhere. Also, the How to Hunt (.com) app for BT hunting has a short video of a buck grunting as he passes the camera. Neither of these are worth spending a lot of time searching (or paying) for. In each, if I remember correctly (which I may not :dunno:) the grunts are a single burst of a half-second long sound. Presumably, they would be longer and/or louder if engaged in a fight or tending a doe. Maybe not.
