Title: Idaho Units 5-18
Post by: RookieBow1967 on October 06, 2018, 11:27:56 PM: Looking to try hunting Idaho next year for mule deer, modern firearm general season in units 5-18 around Lewiston. I was wondering about hunter density, accessibility and areas to try.

I could also try archery but I really want to use my rifle. I dont mind hiking in or roughing it. Looking for an area where I wont run into too many other hunters.

Lol, I have never explored that area very much but saw mulies in the hills around lewiston. So is it mostly whitetail through there? Is there a unit you would recommend for otc mulies non resident?
